Gold price decreases byRs6,700 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold per tola dropped by Rs6,700 on Thursday, settling at Rs335,200 compared to Rs341,900 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA).

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold declined by Rs5,745, reaching Rs287,379 from the earlier rate of Rs293,124. In line with this, 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw a decrease of Rs5,266, bringing the new price to Rs263,440 from Rs268,706.

Silver prices also followed the downward trend. The rate for one tola of silver fell by Rs105, now priced at Rs3,377, while ten grams of silver dropped by Rs90 to settle at Rs2,985.

On the international front, the price of gold saw a notable decline of $67, bringing it down to $3,168 from the previous level of $3,235. Silver in the global market also slipped by $1.05, now trading at $31.95.
