Italy, Poland, Spain and India urge citizens to leave Iran amid rising tensions

Tehran (Web Desk): In light of escalating global tensions, Italy, Poland, Spain, and India have issued urgent advisories for their citizens to leave Iran immediately.

According to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are currently 600 Italian nationals residing in Iran, the majority of whom are in Tehran. The Italian government has called for the immediate departure of its citizens from the country, citing growing security concerns.

Similarly, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised its citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran and to leave the country if already there. The advisory underscores the rising risks associated with staying in the region.

The Indian Embassy in Tehran has also issued an urgent advisory, recommending the immediate evacuation of Indian nationals from Iran. India has called back its citizens, including students, tourists, and businesspeople, from Iran as tensions continue to rise.

As a result of these developments, efforts to ensure the safe return of foreign nationals from the region have accelerated. Countries are working swiftly to facilitate the evacuation of their citizens, with many international flights expected to be scheduled in the coming days. This move is seen as part of broader measures to protect foreign nationals amidst the growing geopolitical risks in the Middle East.
