Dera Ismail Khan (Web Desk): At least four security personnel were martyred and several others were injured in two different terror incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.
At least two police personnel were martyred and three injured as unidentified terrorists attacked Police Line Tank on Friday.
According to police, a group of terrorists armed with sophisticated weapons stormed police lines, prompting the police to retaliate, leading to heavy exchange of fire.
As a result two policemen were martyred and three injured.
Rescue 1122 Tank media wing said that ambulances were dispatched as the incident was reported and started rescue and relief operations.
It says that rescue teams shifted the martyred police personnel including Gohar Zaman(ASI) and Ehsan(constable) and the injured Ajmal (constable), Mukhtiyar(constable) and Shakhi Noor Gul(constable) to District Headquarters Hospital(DHQ) after provision of first medical aid on the spot.
Separately, at least two security personnel martyred and seven others injured after terrorists attacked the Nala Joint Post in Khyber district of the province.
During the attack, the terrorists used heavy weapons including hand grenades.
The terrorists escaped after coming under retaliatory fire from security personnel.
According to Hayatabad Medical Complex Hospital administration, seven injured personnel of Frontier Constabulary have been shifted to the facility, whose condition is said to be out of danger.
