First Lady Aseefa inaugurates Nusrat Bhutto Library in Islamabad

Islamabad (Web Desk): First Lady, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, visited the headquarters of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Islamabad where she formally inaugurated the Begum Nusrat Bhutto Library.

During a meeting with PRCS Chairperson Mrs Farzhana Naek, the first lady was informed that the newly established library would be accessible to students from different universities and educational institutions, supporting their academic and research needs.

Speaking on the occasion, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari expressed her appreciation for the humanitarian initiatives being undertaken by the PRCS and reiterated her willingness to extend full cooperation in strengthening the organisation so it can become more efficient and active in its outreach to underprivileged and vulnerable communities.

She noted that PRCS is performing an important role in humanitarian service and emphasised that its mission should continue with strong commitment and seriousness.

Aseefa said that PRCS is playing an important role in the service of humanity and that its humanitarian mission needs to be carried forward with dedication and seriousness.

Later, the first lady also visited an exhibition titled “Humanitarian Journey of PRCS”, which showcases the organisation’s humanitarian work and legacy over the years.
