Gold price increases by Rs2,200 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a notable increase, with the value rising by Rs2,200, reaching Rs306,200 per tola from Rs304,000 in the previous trading session.

According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs1,886, settling at Rs262,517, compared to the prior rate of Rs260,631.

The cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also rose, advancing by Rs1,729 to Rs 240,649, up from Rs238,920. On the silver front, the per tola price surged by Rs83, now standing at Rs3,450, while 10 grams of silver saw a rise of Rs71, reaching Rs 2,957.

International market trends reflected similar upticks, with gold prices climbing by $20 to $2,933 from $2,913, and silver edging up by $0.89 to settle at $33.14 from $32.25.
