In meeting with Saudi Crown Prince, PM Shehbaz reiterates Pakistan's full solidarity during challenging times

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a restricted meeting with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah.

During the meeting, the discussion focused on the evolving situation in the region, with both leaders reaffirming their determination to further enhance bilateral cooperation while supporting initiatives aimed at maintaining regional peace and stability.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Syed Asim Munir were also present during the meeting.

At the outset, PM Shehbaz conveyed his sincere greetings and good wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and expressed gratitude for the Kingdom’s enduring support for Pakistan.

The premier reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong backing for Saudi Arabia during what he described as a difficult phase, highlighting the longstanding and close brotherly relationship shared by the two nations.

During their conversation, the two leaders exchanged detailed views on the latest developments in the region and agreed to maintain close coordination to encourage peace and stability.

PM Shehbaz assured the Saudi crown prince that Pakistan would remain steadfast in its support for the Kingdom and continue working together toward their shared goal of ensuring lasting regional stability.
