Conflict flares between Iran and Israel amid missile attacks

Tehran (Web Desk): Iran launched a series of intense strikes targeting Israeli and American installations following a statement by the country’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.

The attacks reportedly struck central Tel Aviv along with a US aircraft carrier and several military facilities.
Panic broke out at Ben Gurion Airport, where chaotic scenes unfolded as passengers clashed with airport staff while attempting to secure flights amid the escalating tensions.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia reported intercepting Iranian drones over its eastern and central regions, stating that at least 22 drones had been neutralized so far.

At the same time, American and Israeli strikes hit Iranian military sites in Borujerd and Tehran, damaging military installations, a police headquarters and facilities belonging to the Basij force.

Some attacks near Tehran occurred close to nuclear facilities, raising concerns about disruptions to international nuclear monitoring.

In Lebanon, Israeli operations have resulted in the deaths of 687 people so far, including more than 90 children. France also confirmed casualties after an attack on a Peshmerga base left several of its soldiers wounded and one dead.

According to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), strikes were also carried out on US naval facilities in Bahrain, targeting drone storage sites, anti-drone defense systems and fuel tanks.

Iran further claimed responsibility for an attack linked to the crash of a US refueling aircraft in Iraq.

The UNICEF reported that since the conflict began, more than 1,100 children across the region have been killed or injured.

Saudi authorities also said an additional 10 drones were intercepted to ensure the kingdom’s security.
