CM Maryam’s 'Suthra Punjab' initiative earns international recognition

Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab's "Suthra Punjab Program" led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has been recognized internationally as a role model for cleanliness and waste management.

According to a BBC report, the cleanliness model of "Suthra Punjab" has been implemented in the UK city of Birmingham, where for the first time, a British volunteer group sought guidance from Punjab for waste management solutions.

The "Suthra Punjab" model proved effective in addressing issues of overflowing trash bins and strikes in Birmingham.

The collaboration between cleanliness experts from Punjab and Birmingham's volunteers, through digital partnership, has challenged many traditional assumptions about waste management.

The initiative has successfully promoted modern and efficient cleanliness practices in the city, bringing significant improvements to urban sanitation.
