Lahore (Web Desk): Dense fog engulfed Lahore and adjoining areas in the early morning of Tuesday, causing overnight delay in flight schedules and shut down of many sections of the motorway.
Allama Iqbal International Airport authorities informed that dense layer of fog caused the suspension of domestic and international flights. The resumption is expected at dawn.
In the meantime, zero visibility level at the motorway had blocked traffic at few sections from Lahore to Pindi Bhattiyan and Sheikhupura. The motorway section was blocked between Pindi Bhattiyan to Faisalabad. Passengers faced enormous trouble while traveling at GT road from Lahore to Okara.
