Dense fog engulfs several areas of country, forces closure of multiple motorway sections

Lahore (Web Desk): Severe fog across various areas of Pakistan has created travel difficulties, leading to the closure of M-2 motorway from Lahore to Kot Momin and M-4 motorway from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad.

According to a Motorway Police spokesperson, several areas including Thokar, Sundar, Dinath, and Phool Nagar in Lahore are also affected by thick fog, significantly reducing visibility. Citizens have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel and take precautions for safety.

The spokesperson further stated that during foggy conditions, drivers must adhere to lane discipline, maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, and use fog lights to ensure safer driving.
