Google Maps testing feature to hide all saved places at once

California (Web Desk): Google Maps is one of the most widely used navigation services, helping smartphone users find routes and locate places in their daily lives.

The platform also allows users to save important or favourite locations and organise them into different lists. These saved places can be accessed through the “You” section of Google Maps.

However, having a large number of saved locations can sometimes make the map interface look cluttered. At present, users can hide their saved lists, but they have to do so individually.

Google is now working on a feature aimed at making the process more convenient. According to a report by Android Authority, the option has been spotted in a recent beta version of Google Maps.

The upcoming feature will bring all saved locations together under a single list titled “All Saved Places.” A “Hide on Your Map” option will reportedly be available through the three-dot menu next to the list.

Selecting the option will allow users to hide all their saved locations from the map at once. A confirmation message will also appear, explaining how the hidden lists can be restored later.

The feature is currently being tested in the beta version and has not yet been widely released. Google has not announced when the option will become available to all users.
