Riyadh (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on Thursday for a short official trip undertaken at the invitation of the Kingdom’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman.
On his arrival at the Royal Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport, the premier was received by the Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz. Pakistan’s ambassador to Riyadh and officials from the diplomatic mission were also present at the airport to welcome the visiting leader.
During the trip, the prime minister will hold meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, where both sides will hold discussions on the evolving situation in the region, the broader security environment, and matters related to the longstanding bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The visit underscores Pakistan’s proactive diplomatic engagement, with Islamabad reaffirming its resolve to continue contributing positively to regional dialogue, stability, and cooperation.
