Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Oman's Foreign Minister, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, to share perspectives on the escalating and sensitive situation in the Middle East and the wider region.
During the discussion, DPM Dar commended Oman for its balanced and proactive efforts to encourage dialogue and reduce tensions, the Radio Pakistan reported.
He also extended Pakistan’s support and solidarity to the people of Oman in the wake of the recent attacks on their country.
Dar underlined Pakistan’s appeal for restraint, immediate de-escalation, and a return to diplomatic channels.
The deputy prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast backing for all initiatives aimed at calming regional tensions and fostering peace and stability both within and beyond the region.
