Manama (Web Desk): Pakistan and Bahrain have agreed to deepen their cooperation in the field of security.
The understanding came during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Bahrain's Interior Minister, General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in Manama.
The talks centered on enhancing bilateral efforts in counter-terrorism, the fight against human trafficking, and anti-narcotics operations.
The two countries also explored ways to improve the effectiveness of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Security Committee, aiming to strengthen coordination on shared security concerns.
The Bahraini interior minister expressed appreciation for the existing collaboration between the two nations and highlighted the importance his country places on its security partnership with Pakistan.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stressed that it is crucial to intensify joint initiatives, particularly in tackling narcotics smuggling and human trafficking, in light of evolving regional and global challenges.
