Superior Fest 2026: Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman says event blends entertainment with creative excellence

Lahore (Web Desk): The vibrant celebrations of “Superior Fest 2026” have commenced in Lahore, bringing together students for a dynamic blend of entertainment, sports, and cultural activities.

The festival aims not only to provide recreation but also to polish students’ creative and artistic talents while strengthening their connection with their cultural roots.

Chairman of Superior Group, Professor Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, and Rector of Superior University, Professor Dr. Sumera Rehman, attended the event and encouraged participants.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Sports Gala, Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman said Superior is far more than a conventional educational institution; it is a place where character-building and personal development are given equal importance alongside academics.

He emphasized that students are taught not just from textbooks but also how to transform setbacks into success. “Losing is not the problem; failing to rise after a loss is,” he remarked.

Stressing the importance of national unity, he added that while students may belong to different ethnic backgrounds—Punjabi, Sindhi, Balochi, or Pashtun—their foremost identity is Pakistani.

Throughout the festival, the rich cultures of Pakistan’s provinces are being showcased in colorful displays. Students dressed in traditional attire participated in a march-past, proudly representing their respective regions. A series of lively cultural performances captivated the audience.

Delegations from Kashmir House and Sindh House also marched past the saluting dais, while female students presented a performance titled “Heaven on Earth,” reflecting the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Kashmir.

The Superior Group of Colleges also paid tribute to the youth of the Pakistan Army through a special performance dedicated to their service and sacrifices.

In addition to cultural festivities, various sports competitions are underway, with students participating enthusiastically.

By combining education, recreation, culture, and athletics into one vibrant platform, Superior Fest 2026 has created a memorable and enriching experience for students, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to holistic development.
