Islamabad (Staff Report): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Tuesday approved measures for revival of cotton crop in the country.
The ECC meeting chaired by Finance Minister Asad Umar decided to collaborate with China to enhance cotton yield and focus on research and development.
The meeting also approved an additional guarantee of Rs5.6 billion for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
The funds will be utilised for maintenance, purchase and repair of aircraft.
