DPM Dar, Saudi FM discuss evolving regional situation

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held an important telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, during which both sides discussed the evolving regional situation and issues of mutual interest in detail.

According to official sources, the two foreign ministers reviewed the current geopolitical environment, with particular focus on ongoing diplomatic developments involving Iran and the United States, as well as broader regional stability.

The Saudi foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive diplomatic engagement and its continued efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of safeguarding maritime security, especially in strategic waterways such as the Strait of Hormuz, which remains vital for global energy supplies and international trade.
