Iran says US President Trump launched brutal attacks on Iran in so-called defence of Israel

Tehran (Web Desk): Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces, has strongly criticized US President Donald Trump and the United States for allegedly launching brutal attacks on Iran in the name of protecting Israel.

He described these actions as being carried out in support of what he called a “child-killing regime.”

General Shekarchi claimed that the powerful Iranian military and the courageous Iranian people successfully thwarted US military power.

He emphasized that this demonstrated to the world that the presence of the United States in Western Asia is a key cause of instability and uncertainty in the region.

He further stated that the US military cannot even guarantee its own protection and accused it of using the populations of regional countries as a “human shield” for its operations.

Analysts say these statements reflect Iran’s continued stance against US military interventions in the Middle East and highlight Tehran’s narrative of regional self-reliance and resistance to foreign influence.

The remarks also underscore Tehran’s criticism of Western powers’ role in escalating regional tensions.
