Pakistan, Iran emphasize need for continued dialogue

Islamabad  (Web Desk): Dr. Abdolnasser Hemmati, Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad during the ongoing “Islamabad Talks.”

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the diplomatic discussions being held in the capital.

Both sides used the occasion to exchange views on regional developments and the importance of continued engagement between countries in the region.

During the talks, the two officials highlighted that sustained dialogue is essential for reducing tensions and promoting understanding.

They also agreed that lasting peace and stability in the region are key prerequisites for expanding economic cooperation and ensuring shared prosperity.

The discussion further touched upon strengthening financial and economic ties, as well as exploring opportunities for closer collaboration between Iran and Pakistan in various sectors of mutual interest.

Both sides reiterated their commitment to maintaining constructive communication and supporting initiatives that contribute to regional stability and economic growth.
