Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to using technology to make public services faster, more effective and easier for citizens to access.
He made these remarks while chairing a meeting on Thursday focused on exploring the potential of Pakistan’s information technology sector and digital tools to improve the delivery of government services.
According to a statement released by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, the government considers technology-driven improvements in public service delivery a key priority of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the federal government, particularly to enhance efficiency, accessibility and convenience for the people.
Minister for IT and Telecom Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, and senior officials from the Ministry of IT and Telecom, along with representatives of other relevant departments, participated in the meeting.
