In Taliban-led Afghanistan, terrorism and extremism pose security challenges to neighbouring countries: report 

Washington/Kabul (Web Desk): The Taliban regime in Afghanistan continues to be viewed as a source of growing terrorism and extremist activity, with its policies creating ongoing security concerns for neighbouring countries as well as the wider region.

The US-based Global Conflict Tracker reports that the Taliban regime has consolidated its control over the entire country with unchecked authority while enforcing a rigid system of governance across the country.

The report further states that militant organisations, including Al-Qaeda, have transformed Afghanistan into a centre for recruiting fighters, providing militant training and facilitating the movement of terrorists to destinations outside the country.

It also highlights that severe restrictions on women and girls remain in force, with girls still denied access to secondary education and women prohibited from travelling unless accompanied by a male guardian.

According to the assessment, the Afghan population continues to live under the constant threat of terrorist violence as the Taliban regime remains in power.
