Kuwait congratulates Pakistan on Makkah Joint Defence Agreement

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, focusing on Pakistan-Kuwait relations and a range of regional issues of shared concern.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office (FO), during the Sunday night discussion, Sheikh Jarrah congratulated Ishaq Dar on the signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye.

The two foreign ministers also reviewed the prevailing regional situation, including developments related to Occupied East Jerusalem, and agreed to continue maintaining close contact and coordination on matters of common interest.

They discussed Pakistan-Kuwait bilateral relations and other matters of mutual interest, including follow-up to Foreign Minister Jarrah’s recent visit to Pakistan and further enhancing cooperation and investment in key sectors.
