DPM Dar, Kuwait's FM Sheikh Jarrah discuss evolving regional, international developments

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday held a telephonic conversation with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabaha to discuss evolving regional and international developments.

During the conversation, the Kuwaiti foreign minister acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s continued diplomatic engagement, particularly its role in encouraging communication between the United States (US) and Iran.

He lauded Islamabad’s efforts as a meaningful contribution toward promoting peace and stability in the region.

DPM Ishaq Dar, on his part, reiterated Pakistan’s consistent stance in favour of diplomacy and constructive engagement, emphasizing that dialogue remains the most reliable pathway to achieving long-term peace and stability across the region.

Both sides conveyed optimism that the ongoing diplomatic efforts could produce positive results and help pave the way for durable peace in the near future.

They also reaffirmed the traditionally close and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, agreeing to maintain regular contact and coordination moving forward.
