Punjab increases vehicle, motorcycle transfer fees by 10%

Lahore (Web Desk):  The Excise and Taxation Department of Punjab has announced a 10% increase in vehicle and motorcycle transfer fees, according to an official notification.

As per the revised fee structure:

Motorcycle transfer fee has been raised from Rs. 550 to Rs. 605.
For cars between 650cc and 1000cc, the fee has increased from Rs. 2,750 to Rs. 3,025.
For cars between 1000cc and below 1800cc, the fee is now Rs. 6,050, up from Rs. 5,500.
For vehicles above 1800cc, the transfer fee has been revised from Rs. 11,000 to Rs. 12,100.
For HTV (Heavy Transport Vehicles), the fee has also been raised from Rs. 5,500 to Rs. 6,050.
The revised rates are effective immediately, and the department has instructed all relevant offices to implement the changes accordingly.
