Islamabad (Web Desk): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday left for Turkey on two day official visit to attend the Heart of Asia Conference in Istanbul.
At the conference, the Foreign Minister will inform about the Afghan peace process and the steps taken by Pakistan for stability in the region.
According to the Radio Pakistan, the FM will also interact with local and international media and present Pakistan's point of view on different regional and international issues.
Last week, FM Qureshi briefed his Sri Lankan counterpart Dinesh Gunawardena on the dire situation and human rights violation in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).
Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said that Qureshi told the Sri Lankan foreign minister that the 100-day plus lockdown remains a “cause of serious concern” for the international community.
