Pakistan's next response will be swifter and more severe, CDF Asim Munir warns India

Rawalpindi (Web Desk Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, on Monday reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to peace while delivering a firm warning that any threat to its sovereignty or territorial integrity will be met with a rapid and forceful response.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the CDF stated this while addressing officers from the army, navy, and air force at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, CDF Asim Munir stated, “Pakistan stands strong, protected by the courage of its soldiers and the united resolve of its people.”

He cautioned India against harboring any illusions or misjudgments, making it clear that future provocations will trigger an even faster and more severe reaction.

Field Marshal also directed a message to the Taliban regime, emphasizing that it must choose between internal conflict or alignment with Pakistan.

The CDF praised the exceptional bravery and dedication shown by the Pakistani nation and armed forces during Operation Marka-e-Haq, highlighting that the Multi Domain Operations carried out during the campaign have now become a benchmark and reference point for modern warfare.

He paid homage to the martyrs whose sacrifice remains a source of enduring national pride.

Field Marshal Asim Munir stressed the need for structured integration among the three services, noting that the nature of warfare is evolving to include cyber operations, the electromagnetic spectrum, outer space, information operations, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing.

He described the newly established CDF Headquarters as a historic step that will enhance coordination, coherence, and preparedness to tackle the challenges of future conflicts under a unified tri-service framework.

Field Marshal Asim Munir outlined his vision of an Armed Forces that is forward-looking, technologically advanced, combat-ready, and fully trusted by the nation for deterring any aggression.

During the ceremony, awards were presented to members of the Pakistan Navy and Air Force who displayed remarkable valor during Marka-e-Haq.

Earlier, Field Marshal Munir was received with a Tri-Services Guard of Honour at GHQ to mark his appointment as both COAS and CDF.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and senior officers from all three branches were present to witness the proceedings.
