Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb sworn in as Supreme Court judge

Islamabad (Web Desk): Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb was officially sworn in as a judge of the Supreme Court of (SC) on Monday, with Chief Justice Yahya Afridi administering the oath in Islamabad.

The ceremony drew a notable assembly of legal luminaries, including judges from the Supreme Court and high courts.

Among the attendees were Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, Justice Babar Sattar, Justice Tariq Jahangiri, and Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq. Justice K.K. Agha of the Federal Constitutional Court, members of the Judicial Commission, and esteemed advocates like Ahsan Bhown were also present to witness the occasion.

Joining the event were the Attorney General of Pakistan, senior members of the Bar, officers of the Federal Judicial Academy, law officers, and representatives from the Law & Justice Commission of Pakistan, marking an important moment in the country’s judicial landscape.
