Iranian naval commander warns enemies over country’s military capabilities

Tehran (Web Desk/Agencies): Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani has claimed that the United States is “deeply concerned about Iran’s operational initiatives”, asserting that Tehran possesses the ability to “ground” American forces wherever required, according to Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency.

Irani called on Iran’s armed forces to maintain a constant state of preparedness for what he termed the “Khorramshahrs ahead”.

Referring to the historic defence of Khorramshahr during the Iran-Iraq War, he said the country’s military should remain prepared for potential conflicts that could arise in the future.

He said the armed forces’ primary responsibility was to stop the adversary from accomplishing its intended objectives.

Irani added that Iranian forces were keeping a close watch on the enemy’s activities and movements at every moment and expressed confidence that, with God’s help, they would succeed in carrying out their mission.
