PAF displayed its capability, resilience and dominance in Marka-e-Haq, says Air Chief Sidhu

Islamabad (Web Desk): Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu has said that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) displayed its capability, resilience and dominance in Marka-e-Haq, upholding the glorious legacy being second to none.

Addressing a ceremony on the occasion of completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq at Air Headquarters in Islamabad on Thursday, he said the Pakistan Air Force proved its strength, endurance and operational superiority, maintaining a legacy that he described as unmatched.

He said Pakistan’s overwhelming success was achieved through a united national strategy involving every component of state power, coupled with the blessings of Almighty Allah.

The air chief pointed out that the PAF carried out a full-spectrum, multi-domain operation for the first time in the history of aerial combat. He said the world watched in amazement as the operation was executed with exceptional planning, coordination and precision.

He stated that the PAF struck several high-profile and strategically significant targets during the operation.

The air chief said that the enemy’s energy and transport networks were severely disrupted, key operational facilities were disabled, advanced Rafale fighter aircraft were brought down and a modern S-400 air defence system was destroyed. He added that the opposing side had been pushed into a vulnerable position far sooner than anticipated.

Air Chief Sidhu said the foundation of this achievement was the PAF’s indigenous kill chain system, which successfully connected all operational components into one highly effective and powerful combat formation.

He further said that the PAF had the ability to extend its action even further, but chose to demonstrate restraint through a carefully measured and responsible use of force.

Referring to future preparedness, the air chief said the PAF remains fully committed to strengthening its capabilities to meet upcoming challenges.

He noted that developments at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park are progressing rapidly, while numerous locally developed projects are also moving ahead at full pace.

The air chief assured that the PAF would continue to meet the expectations of the courageous and resilient people of Pakistan and would always stand as a symbol of pride for the nation.
