Indian students join 'Cockroach Janta Party' protest as education crisis triggers nationwide outrage

New Delhi (Web Desk): Growing frustration among students in India over recurring examination paper leaks and alleged structural shortcomings in the education sector under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has triggered widespread criticism.

According to a report by Al Jazeera, a large-scale demonstration was held at Jantar Mantar by a group identified as the "Cockroach Janta Party," drawing significant participation from young people protesting against the government's handling of education-related issues.

Throughout the protest, participants raised slogans criticizing what they described as deficiencies in India's education system as well as the role of "Godi Media."

The movement has also intensified calls for the immediate resignation of Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, with many students and youth activists demanding accountability.

Protesters expressed strong dissatisfaction with the minister's performance, with some demonstrators accusing him of betraying students' interests and calling for strict action against him.
