Afghan nationals' deportation flight from Germany cancelled after Taliban regime refuses cooperation

Berlin/Kabul (Web Desk): A planned deportation flight from Germany carrying Afghan nationals has been cancelled after authorities reported a complete lack of cooperation from the Taliban administration.

German news agency DPA reported that the flight will be arranged again at a later stage, although officials have not yet confirmed any new date for its departure.

According to the same report, the Taliban authorities are believed to be aiming to gain control of Afghan diplomatic missions in Germany and replace existing staff with their own appointed representatives, a development that is being viewed as a key factor behind the current impasse.
