Karachi (Web Desk): Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, daughter of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and ex-president Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday announced that she has tested positive for coronavirus.
In a post on Twitter she wrote, “I tested positive for Covid19 on April 2nd – isolating and recovering. Just a reminder to keep being cautious, call people out if their masks don’t cover their nose, get vaccinated & help those less fortunate to get vaccinated too. May Allah keep us all safe. Aameen.”

It is pertinent to mention that Bakhtawar’s brother and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had also contracted coronavirus in November 2020.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's COVID-19 death toll crossed the 15,000 mark on Wednesday, according to the data shared by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 700,188 after 4,004 new coronavirus cases surfaced in the country during the last 24 hours.
According to the government's COVID-19 portal, the death toll related to coronavirus has reached to 15,026 with 102 fatalities reported during the last 24 hours.
Over the last twenty four hours, total number of recovered COVID-19 patients reached 620,789 after another 2,631 virus recoveries were reported across the country.
