In call with Iraqi PM, Iranian President Pezeshkian says Tehran will not surrender to pressure

Tehran (Web Desk): Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has responded strongly to the United States’ demand for Iran to surrender its weapons, rejecting the call outright.

During a conversation with the Iraqi Prime Minister, President Pezeshkian said that Muslims have already submitted themselves to God, and therefore no one else can force them into submission.

He further urged US officials to stop issuing military threats in the region, stressing that such statements only increase tensions.

The Iranian president emphasized that continued pressure and threatening rhetoric could further escalate instability in the region, calling instead for restraint and responsibility from all sides.
