DPM Dar in KSA to attend OIC CFM's extraordinary session

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Medina al-Munawwarah on Thursday.

He offered prayers at the Masjid-e-Nabawi (PBUH), seeking the welfare, prosperity, and progress of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.

Earlier on Thursday, the deputy premier departed for Saudi Arabia to attend the Extraordinary Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM).

According to a statement issued by the DPM’s Office, the  OIC CFM's extraordinary session is being convened in the backdrop of deteriorating situation in Palestine, resulting from Israeli aggression against Palestinians, the ensuing humanitarian crisis, and the illegal and immoral proposals of displacement of Palestinians from their ancestral homeland.

At the conference, FM Dar will reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.
