Gold prices surge sharply in Pakistan, per tola rate crosses Rs358,000

Karachi (Web Desk):  A significant increase in gold prices was recorded across local bullion markets in Pakistan on Thursday. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold surged by Rs. 4,300, bringing the new rate to Rs. 358,400.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs. 3,687, with the new price now standing at Rs. 307,270.

Experts attribute this sharp rise to increasing prices in the international gold market, which directly impacts local rates. Investors believe that global economic uncertainty, inflation, and fluctuations in the dollar's value are key factors driving gold prices up.

Jewellers anticipate that if the international market trend continues, gold prices in Pakistan may rise even further in the coming days.
