Jeddah  (Web Desk): Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a phone conversation on Wednesday with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, as tensions linger ahead of crucial nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington.

During the call, both ministers underscored the need to settle disputes through dialogue and diplomacy, while also stressing the importance of maintaining peace and stability across the region, according to the Saudi Press Agency

The upcoming discussions, set to take place on Friday in Oman, follow efforts by regional powers to encourage both sides to engage constructively and reach an understanding regarding Iran’s nuclear program, aiming to prevent any further escalation in the Middle East.

Araghchi confirmed the schedule in a message posted on the social media platform X, noting: “Nuclear talks with the United States are scheduled to be held in Muscat at about 10 a.m. Friday. I’m grateful to our Omani brothers for making all necessary arrangements.”Saudi and Iranian FMs speak ahead of key Iran-US nuclear talks.
