California (Web Desk): YouTube has introduced a new feature called "Recap," allowing users to view details about the videos, channels, and topics they've watched throughout the year. This feature is designed in a story-style format, similar to other social media apps, featuring 12 different cards that users can click to learn more about their favorite content.
The "Recap" feature will be available on the YouTube app. To access it, users will need to click on the "You" tab at the bottom of the app. If your recap is ready, a banner will appear at the top. Additionally, it can be viewed on the website at www.youtube.com/recap, provided YouTube has generated your recap.
If you've listened to at least 10 hours of music throughout the year, your recap will include a summary of your musical activity as well.
This feature will not be available worldwide and will only be rolled out to users in select regions. Also, it will not be accessible for children's YouTube accounts. This new feature offers YouTube users a fun way to review their favorite content over the past year.
