Karachi (Web Desk): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) benchmark KSE-100 index plunged 1,250.07 points on Monday.
The market fell over 700 points immediately after the opening bell, sliding further throughout the day to close 1,250 points, or 2.77 per cent, in the red at 43,902.
On Sunday, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri dismissed the no-trust move against Prime Minister Imran Khan, terming it ‘unconstitutional’.
The session started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri chaired the session.
Suri said the resolution could not be voted upon as it was allegedly supported by a foreign power. He also adjourned the session indefinitely.
