Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Xiang ZeDong, to discuss bilateral relations and the regional situation.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the two leaders held detailed talks on matters of mutual interest and recent developments in the region.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening the ironclad and all-weather strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.
He emphasized Pakistan’s high regard for close diplomatic, economic, and strategic cooperation with China, stating that both countries will continue to work together towards shared goals of peace, stability, and development in the region.
The Chinese Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the ongoing progress in bilateral relations and expressed a desire to further expand cooperation.
The Foreign Office spokesperson also confirmed that both sides agreed to maintain close consultations on regional and global matters.
