Ishaq Dar meets US Secretary of State Rubio to discuss regional and global issues

Washington (Web Desk): Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, D.C., where both sides discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments.

According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive momentum in Pakistan-US relations and exchanged views on the evolving international situation.

The meeting also focused on expanding cooperation in areas including trade and investment, while both sides agreed to strengthen collaboration in security and counterterrorism efforts.

It was further noted that the two countries reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the Pakistan-US partnership.

The US Secretary of State also acknowledged Pakistan’s diplomatic and mediation efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
