Islamabad (Web Desk): Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force, paid an official visit to the Naval Headquarters in Pakistan on Tuesday, where he was warmly received by Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS).
According to a news release by Directorate General Public Relations (Pak Navy), during their meeting, the two leaders engaged in discussions centered on regional maritime security and explored ways to enhance cooperation in defense, training, and joint maritime operations.
Admiral Ashraf highlighted the Pakistan Navy’s initiatives aimed at maintaining maritime stability, including the Regional Maritime Security Patrols.
Lt Gen Al Nuaimi expressed his appreciation for the Pakistan Navy’s professionalism and its unwavering dedication to collaborative efforts that ensure security across regional waters.
Both officials emphasized their shared commitment to broadening and strengthening the existing bilateral defense relationship.
The longstanding and friendly ties between Pakistan and Bahrain have been marked by strong naval collaboration, particularly in maritime security and professional training.
This visit will further deepen defense ties and boost joint efforts in regional security cooperation.
