Pakistan, Saudi Arabia sign MoU to further boost security cooperation

Riyadh (Web Desk): Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen bilateral security relations.

The document was signed by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Saudi counterpart Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif in Riyadh, reflecting the two countries’ shared commitment to strengthening institutional ties.

According to the agreement, the interior ministries of both nations will work more closely in areas such as scientific collaboration, professional training and research.

It also provides a framework for exchanging expertise and enhancing the institutional capabilities of both ministries in sectors of common interest.

Before the signing ceremony, Mohsin Naqvi met with Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif to discuss measures for deepening bilateral security cooperation.

During their talks, the two ministers reviewed the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and explored ways to improve coordination between their respective interior ministries.

They also exchanged views on matters of mutual concern while reaffirming their resolve to further reinforce cooperation in the security domain.
