PSX achieves another milestone as KSE-100 index surpasses 179,000 points

Karachi (Web Desk): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) achieved another notable breakthrough on Friday as trading activity pushed the market beyond the key psychological level of 179,000 points.

The benchmark Hundred Index, which had settled at 176,355 points in the previous session, advanced strongly during the day to reach 179,000 points, recording a rise of more than 2,600 points.

Market observers say the continued upward movement reflects rising confidence among investors and the wider business community, driven by their positive assessment of the government’s economic policies.
