Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have taken a major step toward strengthening their collaboration in emerging digital technologies, particularly in the areas of cryptocurrency, blockchain systems, and financial innovation.
The development came following a high-level virtual meeting between Pakistan’s Minister of State for Crypto and Blockchain, Bilal Bin Saqib, and Farukht Aminov, who heads Kyrgyzstan’s National Investment Agency.
During the discussion, both representatives explored ways to deepen cooperation and facilitate the mutual exchange of expertise, especially in digital infrastructure and governance.
The two sides emphasized the importance of sharing technical knowledge, successful strategies, and regulatory experience to keep pace with global advancements in the digital finance landscape.
Bilal Bin Saqib recognized Kyrgyzstan’s pivotal role in the regional push toward building robust frameworks for overseeing digital assets.
He pointed out that such collaboration could pave the way for consistent and transparent regulation across neighboring economies.
To solidify this initiative, the two countries expressed intent to draft and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aiming to formalize their joint efforts.
This agreement is seen as part of a broader regional trend where Central and South Asian nations are working together to establish a more secure and progressive digital economic environment.
