Mild 2.9-magnitude earthquake jolts parts of Karachi

Karachi (Web Desk): A mild earthquake was felt in several parts of Karachi on Saturday evening, causing brief concern among residents. However, no casualties or property damage were reported immediately after the tremor.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the earthquake measured 2.9 on the Richter scale. It originated at a depth of 10 kilometres, with its epicentre located within Karachi.

The Meteorological Department said the tremor was recorded at 6:01 pm.
