Islamabad (Web Desk): Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a key meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr (Presidency) in Islamabad on Thursday.
According to sources, the two leaders discussed important national and political developments in detail.
The discussion also covered potential political changes in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), as well as the government’s future strategy and possible power-sharing arrangements.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi also attended the meeting.
The sources described the interaction as cordial, noting that the coalition leadership held in-depth consultations on the prevailing political landscape and the government’s roadmap for the coming weeks.
Following the meeting, PM Shehbaz left for the Prime Minister’s House.
As per the political analysts, Islamabad has witnessed an unusual uptick in political activity in recent days, and the high-level meeting at the presidency could signal significant upcoming decisions, particularly concerning Azad Kashmir’s political situation.
