Lahore (Staff Report): Mandla Mandela, the grandson of former South African president and the late anti-apartheid hero Nelson Mandela, arrived in Lahore on Thursday.
A member parliament of South Africa, Mandla after converting to Islam is first time coming to Pakistan from Medina.
Mandla is on the visit to Pakistan on invitation of Dr Tahirul Qadri-led Pakistan Awami Tehreek.
According to the PAT representatives, the South African dignitary will attend PAT’s ‘Tajdar-e-Khatam-e-Nabbuwat Conference’.
While speaking to media at the airport, Mandla said: “I am very happy to come here.”
Mandla Mandela accepted Islam in 2016.
