US aims to destroy Iran's air force, navy, missile and drone capabilities: Marco Rubio

Washington (Web Desk): US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has clarified that the objectives of the United States’ operation against Iran are clear, well-defined, and remain unchanged.

In a detailed statement, Rubio said that the operation aims to neutralize Iran’s air and naval forces and eliminate its missile capabilities.

He emphasized that drone and missile manufacturing facilities in Iran are also key targets, forming an integral part of the US mission.

Rubio highlighted that a central objective of the operation is to prevent Iran from attempting to develop or acquire nuclear weapons again.

He stressed that the goals established at the outset of the operation continue to guide US actions, and there has been no change in strategy.

The US Secretary of State further noted that these objectives are expected to be achieved within weeks, rather than months, signaling a rapid execution plan.

He underlined that the US is fully committed to its course of action and is prepared to employ all necessary measures to ensure the mission’s success.

Rubio also emphasized the broader significance of the operation, stating that it is aimed at maintaining regional security, curbing Iran’s military expansion, and safeguarding global stability.

He assured that the US will continue to monitor the situation closely and adjust its strategy as required to achieve its strategic objectives.
