Explosion in Peshawar leaves five injured

Peshawar (Staff Report): At least five people were injured in an explosion in Shinwari Town near Peshawar’s Ring Road on Friday.

According to Senior Superintendent Police Operations, Sajjad Khan the explosion took place near a hospital located on the provincial capital’s Ring Road.

The injured include the owner of the hospital as well as his son.

Detailing the nature of explosion, eye-witnessed claimed that it sounded like a grenade attack, however, police did not confirm the exact nature.

The affected sustained minor injuries, who were shifted to Lady Reading hospital and MMC General Hospital.
