President Zardari says all institutions, including establishment, must be strengthened

Moro (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday called for joint efforts to make national institutions stronger, including the establishment, while highlighting the importance of economic stability and modern reforms in the agriculture sector.

While addressing a public rally in Moro, the president stressed that Pakistan must work towards financial empowerment of its citizens and introduce advanced farming technologies to keep pace with modern-day needs.

Speaking about regional developments, Zardari said the global community had failed to properly draw attention to the alleged mistreatment of Muslims in India.

He further stated that Pakistan had responded effectively during a brief standoff with India, mentioning the downing of aircraft, which he claimed “made them realise the situation.”

The president noted that improving governance and reinforcing state institutions remained among the country’s biggest challenges and urged unity for ensuring national stability and progress.

Later, he held meetings with local dignitaries and public representatives at the residence of Sindh Interior Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar.
